You are way too modest. Your video is more balanced between narrative and effects, and like you say, that fits the tone of the song more. Focus on story-telling = retro style.dwchang wrote:Retro style? I guess you mean the lack of effects, but that has to do with my inability to use them...well and the fact the song doesnt' demand it. Thanks for the comments.rogueintellectproductions wrote:I liked it alot. It's nice to see a retro (song, footage, style) video that's so well-made. I love the Beatles and Studio Ghilbli, too!

To paraphrase one Mr. Cool James, please refrain from referring to it as a revival, I've been lurking for ages.

Yeah I like focusing on what "fits" the tone or rather the "Flow." That's just something I *try* to do well and I'm really glad to hear that people are seeing it.
Thanks again!
Borrow my talent? Ha! Uhm...how much do I get for it?CyberSilver wrote:Oh gawd you rock! May I barrow your talent? One of my favorite vids.... not my MOST favorite but definatly one of them.

good job it's one am and I still felt the utter cuteness of that
peice. Still dosn't beat "I just can't wait to be king" one of my all-time
favorite videos from you. Yes, I like watching very odd videos

I feel a new catagory coming on...
It feels like...
Feel Good
Lifts spirits, makes smiles, and gives you that warm fuzzy feelin' down inside. No, not the feelin' you get when you sit in something, the other feelin'. The good feelin'.
What makes this video excellent is that now I can go outside and watch the sunrise, something I haven't done in a long, long time. I think I might just do that.
