Ehh...I didn't like the movie at all. I've never seen the TV series and the manga is pretty good.

Not a huge fan, though. Although I do like Hinoto. She's cool.

This is exactly why I don't care to see the movie. WHY, DAMMIT, WHY?!

I'm going to lend the series to my friend Kiki. She's been dying to see it.

X TV is my favorite anime series. I've only read like two volumes of the manga. (It was a little too graphically violent for me in some places.) Is the X/1999 manga even finished? I'm still dying to see the manga's take on Sorata and Arashi's relationship...

Nope. It's currently at 18 volumes in Japan (14 so far are available in the US), but CLAMP hasn't drawn any new X since they started xxxHolic and Tsubasa. I really hope it doesn't become something like Clover, which is still listed as "ongoing" four years since the last release.

I didn't realize it was going to run so long! Clover ran for FOUR YEARS? Wow. Have they even released that in the US yet?

I read one volume of X the manga...but I wasn't done with the series yet (I'm still not) and I didn't want to spoil anything. Besides that, it's my brother's.

No, I meant that no new Clover has been released in four years, but it's still listed as "ongoing" on CLAMP's site. I'm not sure of the actual running time, but the first and last volumes so far were released twenty-six months apart.

And yes, all of Clover that's been drawn in Japan is also available in the US (Clover at TokyoPop).

For X, I believe the anime mostly follows the manga until they drasticly diverge soon after the Rainbow Bridge scene in episode 16. I'm not sure where in the manga that scene occurs (it's after volume 11, I know).
