Looking for editing program!!!

Post by djdoe » Tue May 25, 2004 11:38 am

I currently have Arcsoft Showbiz, and I hate it. My question is what is a easy to use program that is superior to showbiz?

Well...I would go with Adobe Premiere Pro. If you have the money it's an awesome program. And seriously - I don't think it's as hard as people make it out to be. If you break down and focus for a while you can learn just about everything you need to know.

That's just my suggestion. I've tried Vegas 5, Ulead, and Windows Movie Maker...and Premiere is the way to go :D

Eck, I hate Showbiz, too. >.< Never try to ask their support group about codec usage. I'd recommend nabbing that upgrade to windows movie maker 2.0 - if you have showbiz, you have wmm 1.0 already, so it's a single download. That's the 'free' method.

Otherwise you can check out the stickies in this section about programs you can use - some are free, and some (like Premiere) are a few hundred dollars. Just depends on what you want.
