shaman king: like or hate

I like Shaman King...

Well I've seen most of the episodes and personally think its a pretty good anime.

The characters were interesting with the tradition Japanese style of design to them and the story line was pretty good ( as it had strong links to the spiritulist beliefs and Mystism ).

It probably would have been even better in the original Japanese style ( before it got dubbed ) but other than that good none the less.

And on the Shaman King vote, I'll say I usually can't watch anything anime related on TV. TV always butchers the shows, also I'm not really a fan of dubs. There's only one or two shows where I actually prefer the dub over the Japanese audio track. IMO a show/movie should always be shown in the language it was meant to be shown in.

I can't say I got into Shaman King even when it was subbed, but it is better than some of the other anime they deem "TV worthy" over here.

i guess since she's not the only card captor, i can see that change, but what's the whole Yukito/Julian Star thing about? [fill me in]

btw, i only got into shaman king through the manga in shonen jump, otherwise i don't know if i would've watched it, i also tend to steer clear of US broadcastings of Anime, even during 'uncut' hours, i stick with dvds or... broadband capabilities

Denial? I thought he knew... what with that phallic hair and tight pants and "wooden sword" and all... oh well. It's not like it's not obvious, but the person it most affects should know.
