gotta correct you on that one, Zeriam aka Iria was live action close to two years before anime was released. then the live action sequel was release one year after the anime

yeah, they got at least three of them, I think. I don't really know what they're like, I just saw the DVDs in the Tower Records. I did see slimy, plasticy tentacles in the screen cap on the box art though.

In addition to anime --> live-action (these are all american films though and video games are included):
Fist of the North Star
Street Fighter
Super Mario Brothers
Double Dragon

Do anyone else out there remember that crap? I sure as hell do, I don't wanna, but that can't really be helped.

There's also Riki-Oh, but I'm not sure whether it was the anime that came first or the live action. But I'm guessing the anime was first because the live action was a Hong Kong film.
