i have an audio file by akina titled jet girl which is 570 KB. can i post this file to this board for informational purposes regarding the artist and the compactness of the file format vs the audio quality?

If it's not an official online release by the artist themselves then I would refrain from posting a link to it. You will be temporarily banned for doing so.

if the audio file is MIDI, 570KB for a song is not so surprising.
MIDIs have reasonably good audio quality and are known to keep the file size small too.

I don't think I've ever seen a 500 + kb midi file...the most I've seen is 100 kb...for a 20 min song...

i just wanted to point across that MIDIs songs can have very little file size

How good a well composed MIDI sounds, however, depends ENTIRELY on the quality of your sound fonts.

a 12kb midi file is nothing if you dont have the 400mb soundfont the composer used to make it....heh
