I'm new to the world of AMVs...[where should I start?]
Yeah, so, as the title says, I'm new to the world of AMVs. I've known about them, seen a few, and was at Sakuracon where I have now been inspired to hopefully make one, or at least get help to make one of my own. The problem is, I have never had any experience in video editing and I think I need a better comp than what my family/I have. I have this great idea which I would like to see attempted, but I am lost as to where to start with it. Could some one help me please?

welcome to both of you. my advice before you start creating videos is to watch other peoples videos first and submit opinions for them. this should give you an idea of whats out there, and help you see things that you should or should not do in your video.
if you are looking for videos to review, i recomend at least one linkin ball z video (you seen one, you seen them all) as well as others. there are plenty of videos out there that need opinions. some places you can find needy videos are the most under rated videos list or leave a message in the opinion exchange forms saying your willing to review vids. plently of people will give you vids to look at.
once you review a couple videos, you should get an idea of whats good and whats not.
anyway, thats my 2 cents. once again welcome

Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all run around in a darkened room, munching pills, and listening to repetitive music~Kristian Wilson, CEO, Nintendo Gaming Corporation
