We all met up right outside the pre-reg area around 10 pm when it all ended. I'm assuming something along those lines would work best, again.
Yeah I like this.... and don't worry Kusoyaro, I'm sure plenty of people will want to do stuff other days too. Just needed to start somewhere ^_^

Yeah that was a bit annoying. But if everyone else really wants to I'm still in.
dwchang wrote: Or we could go to lunch after the AMV panel Saturday morning. I know that's what we did last year and it worked alright. A bit busy in the food court, but we were more or less together.

You have to work...

(in Nelson voice) HA HA! 8)
I missed this.... prolly cause I was gophering or something (yeah, I did my service.... GOPHERING GUARANTEES CITIZENSHIP! Next stop, Klendath.....er... Baltimore). Hope I can make it this year though. I need to find out from Matt when the pannel and workshop are, because I am pretty sure the AMV Workshop is happening after the AMV pannel, but I don't know if it's directly after or not. I know myself Vic and Alan Chaess are suposed to be doing the workshop (possibly with Quu there) and I believe Geoff said he is going to moderate.

I'll figure it out.

I'll actually be there this year. With all the parody and contest stuff I've been doing lately I haven't had time or interest to make videos out of some of my ideas. Maybe listening to you guys will get me in the mood to make more (and hopefully MUCH better) videos. For me, I need to be in the right state of mind to edit. Otherwise it feels like work and not fun.

Ah well, I'm done running at the mough... sorry for double posting.... again.
Ian or Tim or who EVER is taking over the site for Phade.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE enable the "edit" button for posts ^_^

Anybody staying at the Radisson Plaza? I am with like five other people in one room. (can anybody say sleeping bag?)

No but seriously though, I'll be arriving at around 4'ish on thursday for the pre-reg line.

By the way, I tryed to pre-reg online via credit card and I got to the point where it was processing the credit thingy or something like that. My question is weather or not I suggseccfully payed or not and how and who should I contact in order to find this out or not? (I would Atempt it again but I don't want to take the chance of buying another one if I did it right the first time)

Once agian you can Identify me by my Black Sun Productions Hoody or tee-shirt (Iorn-ons rule!)

I suggest taking a few minutes to read all the threads on this subject over at the Otakon Message Board (Registration Required).

I'll be up there on Thursday as well, but damned if I know if they'll give me my badge before Friday morning or not (depends on whether or not they'll hand out for panelists or not).

Well, I may be wrong but don't Panelists get an Associates Badge? I talk to some people and find this out if I can.
If so I believe you can just pick it up at the BCC Security Office (located on the Charles street side of the BCC, across the street from the Hyatt's Parking Garage) any time after noon on Thursday.
The staffer/s on duty there should have a list of everyone.

Let me confirm this with someone, then I'll gat back to you.

My question was more whether or not they'll give out the panelist badge on Thursday or not. Getting mine last year meant getting an escort on Thursday night from MooP through the lower reaches of hell....er...setup and behind the scenes to where they were running them off as fast as they could.

So yes, panelists get comped as associates.

And I'm personally hoping that we're (the group I'm panelling with) up against the Cosplay...it just seems like a great time for an obscura panel.

Yeah and if they do get Associate badges (which according to you they do) then you should be able to get them Thursday in the security office. This is what I am tryng to confirm.
