I have ideas, but...

I have ideas for a few AMVs that I would like to work on, but I don't know where to start. What I mean is, I have never done this before, so I am throwning these ideas out there for someone to hopefully scoop up and go crazy with.

The first one is to use Nickleback's song "Someday" to tell the story of how Yusuke Yurameshi (Yu Yu Hakusho's main character) came back to life, but I want to model it after the actual music video for the song. What I am talking about it that in the actual music video, the story of a man that died and his wife/girlfriend/significant other is coping with the loss, but in the end she loses her life but gets to be with him. I want it to end with Yusuke (sp?) coming back to life instead, unlike in the original music video. Then there is another element to it, throughout the video, it cuts to the band singing the song. I want to replace that with the Powerpuff Girls. "Why?" you ask, because there is an episode in which the three of them form a band to 'save the day' and I just want to see one of them in a man's voice say the opening line to the song:
"How the hell did we wind up like this?"


As for the other idea, this one is more of a stretch since I have not seen Initial D yet, but I sort of understand the idea behind the anime. I want to use Pearl Jam's song "Last Kiss" and try to tell the story they are talking about in this song. This song is about how the person singing the song lost his love of his life in a horrific car accident and all the events that took place during it. This one is a stretch, but I think with some creative editing (such as bringing in other characters from other animes if needed) I think it could be done (hard to say though).


So, I hope that someone can take off with these ideas and come up with some great AMVs. Thanks for your consideration and I hope things work out in the long run with these ideas.

Yes, I pretty much like that idea. I might ask my friends to see if they've got any YYH DVDs I could borrow. The only thing I don't like though is the powerpuff bit. I think that would actually be very silly and would go against the main theme and general feeling of seriousness in the video. Still, if I get the DVDs, I'll see what I can do.

I understand that part of it, so I can live without that part of the video. It is more of a wish that doesn't need to be granted. Although, there could be one that is of the PowerPuffs and all of there defeats and troubling times with the band part still in it to that same song, it would work that way too... I think...
