Dreaming about anime

If you didn't wake up you would not have remembered the dream.

Dreams take place during REM sleep about 3 to 4 times a night.

The way the memory portion of the brain works, dreams basically get tossed out unless you wake up during or just after a dream.

Actually it is more like the memory erodes rather than gets tossed out.

Not to be an ass, but there is a reason people are asleep during dreams....boring.

i prolly dont remember most of my dreams becouse i get an average of 3 hours of sleep on schoolnights. thats barely one sleep cycle. but now its the summer so maybe i can get 7 ot 8 hours of sleep

Strange, I get the same small amount of sleep, but that makes me remember more of my dreams than I do if I'm sleeping the 'best' 8 hrs. I find that the closer to 'wake-up time' I go to sleep, the faster I drop into rem, and the more likely I am to get woken up in the middle of a dream. Then again, I've been known to wake up, hit snooze, then doze for another 10 minutes - going right back into the dream as if I hadn't woken up. I don't think it's possible to drop into rem that fast, but I do it. The best ones are when I'm editing in my sleep. I dive back to bed and try to figure out the anime clips before my alarm goes off again and interrupts me. ^_^;;

This is an unforgetable Cowboy Bebop dream. I had a dream that the world was ending because a giant comet was heading for earth. I was hiding in a bomb shelter when the comet hit. After that, we took a peek outside, and everything was intact. Me and Jet went up to start a bonfire and smoke a cigerette (no, I don't smoke), and get some fresh air. Jet sat down on a wrecked tractor, and I sat on a barrel and asked him if we could go see the crater. Jet said he forgot where the comet was going to hit. Then spike walked up behind me. Spike pulled the cigerette out his mouth, and before he could say something, my alarm went off. From this day on, I curse that wreched thing

I've had about 50 stupid little DBZ dreams. I started typing them all out too.

I recently had my first anime related dream. I was trying to get Mizuho from Onegai Teacher to sex me. We eventually made arrangements to sex at a later time but I woke up before it happened >_<

Interestingly, Kei Kusanagi from Onegai Teacher was also in my dream, starring as amv editor Omnistrata O.o

I used to wach WAY too much DBZ. I guess you're right. I only dream about the shows I watch too much. Yeah, i can't get enough bebop either.

i had a dream i stood at the sidelines watching kenshin vs. shishio
scariet shit i ever watched. i couldn't see sano or anything, i just heart his voice. very cool.
