Of course your proud of that. Christianity is typically western.

But on topic; I can't show any of what I have to my parents for two reasons:

1. They wouldn't watch it for more than a few minutes.
2. When they do watch it they comment on how stupid or unrealistic it is about every 10 seconds. That is horribly annoying so I never watch it when they're around.

There are Christains all over the world asia, europe, africa...not just in the 'west'.

I didn't see this name come up at all: Last Exile

I showed that to my stepfather who hates everything animated. i haven't seen it all but it seems like a good clean anime.

Heat Guy J looks good to. I also haven't seen it all, its a little viloent but thats all. (I think)

Any of Miyazaki works like said before...ummmm Oh and Fruits Baskets. A little cussing but thats all.

actually like most americans are pretty satanic if ya think about it....i mean maybe 40% of people claim to be christian in the us. but seriously they go out and be well.... not. and they bash it..... if you say you are christian in some places people refuse to talk to you...(seriously)

I started to watch Nadia secret of blue water. I never finished it, But it looked like it was an okay show. Mostly cartoon violence. nothing else.

I think someone already said this but I would recommend Spirited Away. My parents didnt understand me liking anime until I had them watch the movie together with me and they loved it.
