Post by Shadar_m_hael » Thu Jun 17, 2004 1:41 pm

I found this interesing song by Therion, Muspelheim but its in Swedish.

So please if there are any Swedish people on this forum I would apreciate if you culd translate this song for me.

Kaun

Gudaskymning faller pĺ glöden
börjar flamma (Ur) ödets eld i Muspelheim
Ragnarök härstamma.

Muspilli flammor över Jord,
snart kommer Surt att härja,
Jättarna tända Ragnarök
(och) runor av eld besvärja.
Muspel öppnat sig

Surt som i syd med draget svärd
kallar pĺ Muspels söner,
kommer till kamp pĺ Vigrid slätt,
dĺ hjälper inga böner.
Frĺn syd kommer kaos.

Makter av eld här stormar fram
nu skola världen brinna.
Jättarna dräper guden Frej dĺ
kommer ödets timma.
Frukta Muspelheim!

Thanks!!!

I can translate from Croatian if anybody needs it...

Thanks.

I tried translating it today, word for word, with some Swedish - English dictionary and it came up somewhat clear. As some words have more than one meaning so it is not a perfect translation...

You could always try one of those online translators for a loose translation. I've never used it, but here's one.
