Its small and short (16MB 1:39) so hopefully it shouldnt take too much of your time

As an entry to the .org I've seen much much worse. The video didn't score very high, but on the other hand I did try to be constructive in my commentary. As others will tell you, generally speaking my advice is good.

I'm a video opping machine today. I might be able to get one or two detailed ops done today.

For those who are waiting for one, the standard looks like this:

originality :
capture :
sound :
lip sync :
efftects :
overall/review :
the good:
the bad:
general notes:
what I liked:
what I would change:

The timeline just adds a timeline breakdown to this, but that takes a long er.. time, so I don't do that all of the (ahem) time.

Additionally, the more detailed the op is, the lower the scores tend to be, since I figure you want to improve more than you want to stroke your ego, and can handle it.
For example: for the originality, I do a search to see how many times your song, video, and combination has been used. For the music, anything less than 192 lame gets a markdown, and for the editing/capture, no provision is made for compression issues like jaggies, and dot crawl.

The artistic analysis (also known as the ulitimate review) takes into account how well you used your color palatte, and whether or not you did things like mesh the music and lyrics into a gestalt. Videos like 'wasteland' are a pretty good example of this. (incidentally, very few videos have stood up to the assaultive ultimate review, this was one of them.)

BTW MJ, sorry I made it against the rules of my thread to apply for ops on those vids. I'd love to op that but um... 9 times out of 10 I got my parents/brother standing over my shoulder
