What makes a good anime music video?

In your opinion what makes a good AMV? I am very picky in making AMV because i try to sycn with the song as much as i can, and also try to tell a story behind the video. However, i have a thing of selecting animes that aren't that popular. Well i want to know you opinions thanks

If I have a good idea for a vid , doesn't matter if the anime/song choice are overused , if I think it works I'll make it , but if the vid will be good ... well that's another story :roll:

For other peoples vids , act / lyrics sync are important to me enjoy an AMV ^^

yeah, but so far 2 ideas i had....other creators did it...

Good Video + Good Audio + Good Song + Music Insync with Video + Good Anime + Fancy Effects = Good AMV.

Missing some steps guys

Drinking to much caffaine + Having a decent plot + Good Effects
(if you can do those) + Lots and Lots of Orignality in use
of above steps not including caffiene.... it also, helps if you
have a bunch of beta testers rip your video apart before
posting it or finishing the final verison. Oh, and remeber that
a brain embalism is the first step towards using after effects :)

You also a good concept (but not totally necessary) need's drive. something that just makes people want to watch it over and over and over ... you get the point.
