That's OK, we know where you live, we have enough evidence to put you away for life. We could always leak your address out to every dating survice out there and have all of them line up at your door... We'll just mention your an "AMV creator". That should bring them around (Maybe not the ones you might want though....)
     oooohhh the horror....

...which begs the question: which is more difficult, editing someone out of a video, or eating sushi with a fake mustache on?

You know, I was just about to answer this question... and then I realized it's probably one of those rhetorical things designed to point out absurdity. :-D

(No, I haven't worn a fake mustache while eating sushi, but I have worn one on stage...and have had it fall off.)
"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."

I've worn a dress before on stage and yes, it was during an actual play (a horrible yellow dress too...yellow is not my color :?).

I have access to a Canon digital camera via work that I can take Thursday evening since it looks like the doc crew will be missing. It's an Optura Pi I believe. It's a good digital camera with a FireWire connection and it uses MiniDV tapes so I can easily capture the footage off the tape to my computer for my copy on Friday and give the doc crew the DV tape for their project. No need for mustaches, I'll respect anti-filming wishes (although that doesn't mean I won't reenact embarrassing scenes from the restaurant after I get back home ).

Going to annoy the restaurant's manager tomorrow afternoon about a 15 to 30 person group event and see what we can come up with. They do have 19" TVs throughout the place, I wonder if we can take over a section and get access to a VCR (probably not but I'll ask). While I'm out I might also go and verify that Dixieland (small fun park in the same town as the restaurant) has a DDR machine since that news flash shocked me. Dixieland is only open Friday-Sunday but it looks like it would be the closest place with DDR (for those interested, I'm sure there will be one or more at the con itself). I'll let y'all know how the scouting goes and I'll look at setting a meeting time on Thursday by the end of the weekend so if you haven't added your input on that please do so.

My input is that I won't be there 'till Friday...ya, I know, I'm worthless, but I was getting sad having nothing to say in this thread. Though I'd like to vote for everyone having to wear a fake mustache at the gathering so I can see it in the documentary.

By the way AD, I'll love you forever if you bring me the latest issue of NME :D

It was mentioned before, but never fleshed out: Is there anything the late Thursday night arrivals would like to do? I'll most likely be arriving right as the dinner-thingy is wrapping up. If anyone is interested in getting together, drop a line in here with a suggestion of what to do.

BTW, I most likely won't be bring my camcorder. All that shitty JACON footage had the audio dropped because you couldn't make anything out at all. I mean, I would talk to the camera at times, and you couldn't even understand me.

Oops, forgot two things: My ideas for Thursday night, and for Friday morning/noon. Apparently there are a lot of people flying in late Thursday night. I was thinking all of the late arrivals could meet in the airport and hang out, get something to eat at the resturants, whatever. I'm driving in, and I could meet someone if they wish. Then, we'd move to another gate, awaiting the next arrival.

My idea/plan for Friday was to meet Jon and Carlos when their respective flights arrive. I believe MJ and the Hypeo brothers will be with me, and I asked if anyone else would be interested. So, post your thoughts, and I'll try to get back to you this weekend.
