N00B here wanting to know how to make the "No" go

Post by camo » Mon Jul 05, 2004 8:36 pm

Okay well . . . Im still wondering why I cant make the "No" go away whenever I make a video. I also wanna know what it means. Does it mean that no one can see my video? Why do some videos have that?

Okay I know that some of you probobly think this is a stupid question . . . But please reply to this before I explode lol.

The "No" under the "My Videos" section of your profile means that video is currently unavailable for download. You can specify a Direct or Indirect link if you have the video hosted on a server somewhere, or you can choose to upload your video onto the Golden Donut (the Org's server, aka Nago). If you already have your video hosted somewhere, go to "Edit My Videos", click the title of your video, choose "step 4: links", and enter the video's information there. Choose "Direct link" under "Type" if you're directly linking to your video, or choose "Indirect link" if you're just linking to the web site that's hosting your video. If you don't have a seperate host and you wish to upload onto the Donut, click on "Upload Video" under the member's menu to the left. Please read the guidelines carefully before uploading your AMV. After you upload your video via FTP, you should have "Local" as a download link to your vid.

Please, take the time to speak clearly. No one will be able to help you if they can't understand you.

Click on Upload Video
On the next page, select which video in the listbox you want to upload
It will give you a username and password, along with an FTP address
Either use Explorer or an FTP program to get to the address
Then, click and drag your video onto it.

Something like that.
