Windows Movie Maker Freezing Problems

You work on WMM for a bit, and then IT FREEZES! Then you cannot get rid of it and you are pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del a thousand times. Anyone else have this problem? Anyway to correct it and stop it?

As far as I am aware, WMM commonly has issues like this. I don't think there's any way to get rid of them, either.

Sometimes, periodic diagnosis and maintainence works wonders. If you got some utility software, like Norton Utilities, you can use it to clean up your system registry. Also, defragging your machine would work, too.

wmm is evil

everytime i have something quick to edit i just pop up wmm import something and it FREEZES.... screw it fire up vegas... thus taking more time... grrr... i doubt there is a way to stop it.... u kno it is a free program... prolly means they didnt spend very much time cleaning up the coding
