ScrambledAVS video and premier pro
Ok here's whats happening. I had everything installed (AMVapp, avi synth etc.) and it was all working good, i even made a video that some of you may have seen. Then i had to reformat my PC. I got all the avisynth scripts working again but now whenever i load one of my avs files into premier it gets all scrambled. If its stopped you can see the picture fine, and even if u seek or fast render it it doesnt scramble. But if you just play it directly from the timeline... its so scrambled you cant make out whats happening at all. Its almost like colored lines just everywhere. I tried reinstall premier, changing settings, everything i could think of. Please help.... it was never like this before.

Hrm. Sounds like something went wrong with the AVIsynth plugin. Either that, or the codec Premiere is using to render the previews is screwy. Have you tried exporting the video and watching it to see if it looks alright anyway?

Also something to look into.
If you're using a Video card that isn't built into your mother board (AGP,PCI cards) Make sure you have the latest version of the drivers installed on your machine. I remember when I installed AviSynth on my new machine all the colors were screwy until i updated my vid drivers.

Well I got a newer AVS plugin. Strange the one I had before was from AMVapp and it worked perfectly. But i got a newer one from sourceforge and it works again. But even if it did look normal when i exported it, wouldnt it be kind of hard to edit when you cant makeout the picture at all lol? And maybe when I updated the catalyst drivers (I have a Rad 9600xt 128) it screwed it up for some reason. Thanks alot guys!

I think a lot of people edit this way, myself included.Saiyan Legend wrote:But even if it did look normal when i exported it, wouldnt it be kind of hard to edit when you cant makeout the picture at all lol?
Good that you fixed it though.
