But I love it.

It's hilarious. I get much enjoyment out of it.

Mercedes Benz - Janis Joplin

Her voice sounds like she's been on a steady diet of gravel since she was born. It's actually painful to listen to.
-Are children who act in rated 'R' movies allowed to see them?
-Do they have girl’s bathrooms in gay bars?

You sir, Fail at life.

Alanis Morissette ... any and all.
...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.
I've seen it happen, man! I've SEEN IT!..

But you do have to realize that she puts so much soul into her singing.

Here's another. "Intuition" by Jewel. Probably the biggest example I can think of someone just totally selling out. She use to do nothing but folk style acoustic guitar music before she did this sucker.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

Janis Joplin - Firstly, Janis Joplin is a rock legend. She almost single handedly proved that women could be serious rockers. As for her voice, it's part of her musical style. You may think it's "one of the BEST rock voices ever" or you may think it's "painful to listen to", but that just personal preference. It's not a reason to classify any of her work as the worst song ever, IMNSHO.

Jewel - Did she sell out, or is she just experimenting with different styles? *shrug* Personally I'm going to reserve judgement, and watch what she does from here... (Also, it would be helpful if you define what you mean by "selling out" since the term carries a lot of connotation, but is somewhat ambiguous as to its denotation.)

In any case, I think you guys can do better than this. Remember it's supposed to be the absolute worst song ever.
