I don't know when the music industry said 'you know Metal has been great and very inclusive to other forms of music, but lets start making music without any musicians'. Thus the current era of would be music began.

That is why we have things like boy bands (band what band?) all over the place and arrogant cliche solo artist with computerized voice echos for support. Sure this junk can be danced to, but can it really be listened to?

I guess Metal no longer needed the advertisement of TV to sell albums. That and so many of great bands had to stop for liver related issues.
