I would love to live in that world. I'd be the captain of that ship, and have nothing but females with short skirts as my crew. Talk about a dream come true. I'd even install cameras in all there locker rooms.DOTL wrote: But Aika wouldn't be so bad either
what anime world would you like to live in?

= ] I'd like to live in my world, in my world i can read news like
And in my world =O he can't grow it back.msnbc wrote:“He still feels quite severe pain,” Syed told Sheffield Crown Court, adding that some pellets still were lodged in Walker’s groin area from the resulting shot steming from him shoving a sawed off shotgun down his pants.
In my world =O i don't have to worry that if i paint a painting some chick will come out of it and destroy the world.
And in all honesty, I wouldnt trade this world for anything.

I'd like to live in the Cowboy Bebop world because people in that story are just like the ones we've got right now, except in a plausibly futuristic setting.
If you think about it, any fantasy world more perfect than our own in some way would have to have some hidden drawback as part of this perfection. (Example: if you lived in a Love Hina world, you might start thinking all the pretty girls look the same after a while and start yearning to live with more ordinary-looking girls again. You'd also have trouble finding real friends to hang out with since you'd always be surrounded mainly by girls and the only guys you'd know would be losers and weasels. And you'd be a wuss who gets beat up a lot.)
With Cowboy Bebop, there are no hidden drawbacks, just humanity's usual problems (original sin, crime, war, terrorism, etc.) combined with much better technology. In other words, living there would be just like traveling to the future of our world. And who hasn't wanted to do that? (And if I ever get to make a jump that far into the future, you can just bet I'm going to bring back an E-paper book with an 8 petahertz processor, 512 exabytes of RAM and a 50 petabyte hard drive.)

Any world where:
1. I get powers
2. I don't get the drawbacks that usually come with powers (Kryptonite, archenemies/rivals, the duty to save the world from chaos/invasion/destruction)
Failing that, then Cephiro. But not as Pillar or a Magic Knight, like as someone more... ordinary.
I'd really prefer designing my own that picking just one. It would have to have giant robots! and lightsabers! and magic! and bishounen!
but really, I couldn't choose between futuristic and medieval fantasy settings.

Sounds like you want Scrapped Princess. You get futuristic technology, and nice things like running water, as well as swords, knights, and magic.bubblehead wrote: but really, I couldn't choose between futuristic and medieval fantasy settings.

oh, I've seen it, but what about the lightsabers? and computers? and spaceships? (is that big ship the "beast princess" has a spaceship?). Though there is that last fight in the series.
...and then there's the whole world-going-to-hell-in-a-handbasket thing which is a total turn-off.
but I didn't think of that really. And there ARE bishounen. Unfortunately at least half of them seem to be grumpuses.
But what's cool is that the ancient language of that world which only a few scholars can understand is English. I wonder what they'll make it in the dub? I'm guessing French, b/c a lot of English language dubs are done in Canada, where French is one of the official languages (along with English).
