cutting video without recompressing

Post by Neyuki » Wed Aug 11, 2004 9:28 pm

i have a matroska (.mkv) file and want to cut it (as in leangth, not image size. I just want to cut off part of the beginning). but i don't want to import it into a software and resave it becasue you lose quality that way. Does anyone have an idea how to do this withou losing quality?
