Gundam Seed is a great series, don't let the terrible dubbing deter you!
I've yet to see 08th MS (Well I saw the first 2 episodes) and 0083, but by the look of them, I think it's safe to say I'll love 'em. (Especially 0083, I love late 80's - early 90's anime)

Gundam is pretty awsome. After you watch gundam wing you have to watch the rest, I mean the story and everything really affects you after gundam wing. My favorite gundam series is 08th ms team, it goes beyond gundams and straight to the moblesuits to were it depends on the pilot and not the MS at all.
If the army or navy ever looks upon heavens scenes, they would see that the streets are guarded by the United States Marines.
