To spoil or not to spoil?
ok i'm getting ready to make my ultimate video and am still in my preparation phase. But I want to ask if i should use spoilers in my video. i guess it all depends on if i want to tell a story or not. If i want the video to occasionally parrallel the anime in time and have certain events shone in sequence i'm leaning towards spiolers.
however if i'm wanting to simply put in "cool clips" i can edit shots to minimize spoilers. Then there's also the question of wanting people who've never seen the series to have it "ruined"
OK simply put what are everyones opinions concerning use of none, minor, or major spiolers respectively? Does using spiolers "cheapen" a video? or enhance it for people who've already seen it and appreciate it.
p.s. the video i'm making will definately be geared towards people obsessed with this anime.

I don't mind spoilers too much. Even videos without them give away some of the plot so that when a particullar scene nears I already have a good idea as to whats going to happen. Then of course there's Eva videos. I've seen plenty with major spoilers and I still only have a vague idea as to whats going on. In short, don't worry about them. If viewers don't want the plot spoiled, they'll just wait until after they've finished the anime in question.

I don't really concern myself with it too much. If it ends up with spoilers because the plot needs it, that's okay by me. I just mark it off as having spoilers and don't really give it a second thought. People know what they're getting when they download it. The only exception I could see would be at conventions, where you could add a spoiler warning bumper as a courtesy (I've seen it done before, and appreciated it).

Cowboy has alot of Filler episodes..most of the series has nothing to do twith the plot anyways..I have to agree it doesnt matter what you do you'll end up having some spoilers ..I just dont like vids that are made up of the last 10 mins aof a series 0_oand the vid is aobut 5 mins..

I wouldn't worry about it. I actually like my anime in video form a lot of the time. For example I havn't seen Fruit Basket and I don't plan to, but Forbidden Memories, which is very story driven, is one of my all time favorite videos.
