i WAS referring to fansubs, it is where i have gotten some of the footage used in some of my AMVs (i made the Haibane Renmei one before it was licenced in the states) (which btw, i liked so much i purchased the DVDs). And the rest of mine i ripped from DVDs (i stated in a previous post that it took me 2 freaking days to rip Utena, that includes nights. Is that ok with you???

ah sory for sounding (or being

) so nasty, my head was feeling kinda wierd and someone who i didnt know and who thought i was a girl was unintentionaly anoying me on msn (as in, they were being themselves, and they kept messaging me, and i was geting pissed). gah, theirs no real excuse for being a dick, but sory.

Haven't we established by now that fansubs ARE illegal, whether or not the series is licensed, no two ways about it?

Yeah, but so is ripping commercial DVDs...yet that seems to be admired around here.
