but there is nothing wrong with pointing them to a few more guides, and adding on additional information in case they DO want to spend weeks upon weeks on a video and become the winner of otakon or something...

Agreed...if someone just wants to make DBZ/LP vids for fun, let them. There is no law that says AMV's must be created solely for the purpose of "getting respect". Let the beginners have their fun, I didn't see anything wrong with this woman's article outside of it being very basic.

I like making some rather cool stuff that I do now that I have more skill...
But then again, It WOULD be awesome to crank out 1 new video a day again.

Hell... My star scores are about 2.70 and 3.00.
