video software

I know there is alot of software out there but i noticed every one has trippy details liek being able to have to video clips showing at the same time and i was wondering what software do u guys use.
and is there any free good stuff to download please post back...

I prefer premiere pro, but i am still trying to relearn what I could do in 6.5

i use vegas 5 + dvd and after fx ^^ i just got them today (so happies)

they arent free tho -_-;;;;; my wallet is empty and i bought them under academic pricing

for image editing i have photoshop 7.0 but u can get the same program for free;; its called gimp ^^ http://www.gimp.org

When the video is showing multiple video at the same time, the editor is usually using overlays. Most professional level software supports multiple overlays with moving paths. Beginner level programs seem to mostly allow at least one overlay.

I use Ulead Media Studio Pro.
