If americans can copy japanese style, I don't think you should be complaining. Who cares if it looks japanese, or american, they have the right to use the style they want.

I'm sure Poke'mon counts as a questioned anime just because the music is so english =/

I question if the education anime-lookalikes I see in my classes are considered anime ._.

True they do, but I am only talking about where you would draw the line between the two animation wise.

for me alot of it is about the art becouse if the art is american style or cg or just plain sux i cant enjoy the anime there for i cant get to know the characters or the story.

No I watch anime solely for the story. I am taking about where you would draw the line between animation and Japanese anime based purly off the art, and NOTHING else.

Uh, if you watch it solely for the story, then what is the purpose of your question?

Anime is japanese animation because it is japanese in origin. Your question is like asking what's the difference between a fruit and an orange based on color.
