Anime Expo Report and Documentary

Anime Expo Report
------------------------

Mostly this day was pretty cool since I got to meet everyone at the AMV gathering. I must say I was amazed to meet everyone. It was the first time I was actually recognized by some people. I got to meet Anneke, Justin Emerson, Vlad, Brad Demoss, Andre, Castor Troy and his buddies, Sean Thordeson, Alpha Omega, Troy Williams, Brian, Eric Kobet, Tim Park, Charles Bathal, and Peter Stoll. Am I forgetting anyone? I hope not. If I am shoot me. We had lots of great convos at the table. Plus afterwards alot of us went to go see Men In Black 2.

Anneke - cool girl and has a very nasty yaoi habit. I chatted with her alot and everything was really cool between us.

Ermac - He?s not mean, hes just misunderstood. Man justin is nothing like what people think he is online. A really great guy to talk to and very helpful. I think I?m turning into an Ermac Fanboy =P. PS, Justin does not Lack Integrity.

Vlad - The wisest AMV creator of them all. Now here is an AMV Guru who everyone should listen too. Very useful advice and a War veteran who has been through it all. A wise one that I learned alot from.

Brad DeMoss - Wacky guy who brings a smile to anyones face. A rather disturbing laugh though. Hahaha still a really cool guy.

Andre - nice guy who hung around with me and kept my sanity through most of the Con.

Castor Troy - Funny ass guy who is a coward before the Almighty Joe Maborishi. Haha. Still a cool guy to hang with.

Alpha Omega - The young Edward Norton of our time. Hahah this guy was awesome. I hung out with him most of the time as well. Really great guy.

Tim Park - really mellow guy who should be known more as Dorky Dorky instead of Doki Doki. Haha joke from Anneke there. Still Tim is an awesome guy.

Eric Kobet - This guy brought the house down at the AMV panel. One of the coolest guys in the world. I wish he wasnt so hard on himself. Hand down Eric Kobet is one guy everyone has to meet one day in their lives. This guy lives as a very cool guy in my book!

Charles Bathal - Also someone was really cool with me and kept my Sanity throughout the Con. One of my co-hosts during the Anime Expo Documentary. Mad props to him. He knows how to have a good time.

The AMV Contest was Cancelled due to lack of tech support. Anime Expo literally sucks.
I don?t want to give much away but everyone will see great surprises on the Anime Expo Documentary.

I hope to have the Akon and Expo documentaries all out by end of July or early august. Actually since AX was so bad, it may come out first before the Akon Documentary. Akon was awesome and needs time to be made awesome. AX was just bad and deserves no time to be spent on as far as effects go.

AWA is the Final Documentary. After the AX experience, I will see to it personally that AWA won?t suck!

Share your thoughts here about what you think. I'll answer any questions anyone has or if I missed something let us know so we can talk about it. Hehehe. 8)

Oh yea I forgot about Brian...Sorry about that.

I have one thing to say about Brain (Vash of Cucumber Studios).

Brain - This is Vash. Vash is a pimp. See Vash Pimp. Pimp Vash Pimp.

Gee, I don't know what to say and am glad that I do have something to say others find constructive. Flipping that around, I would say this of Machine:

Machine - A much more cooler guy in person! Looks exactly as I pictured him and a great guy to talk to. One of the true new pillars of the Anime Community and a great asset! Also, the best dressed AMV creator of us all well!

Whaaaaa! You met me too Machine! I'm so un-memorable.

I have to agree with you on the Eric Kobet description. I think he's the most adorable thing since Hamutaro!

I never knew there was anything not cool between us? And it's not a nasty yaoi habit, it's a perfectly healthy one. <grin> Now my next video goes to the bad yaoi habit side. Muhahaha.

I think I surprised some people when the Sex for Dummies book came out and I noticed it was version 2, that I have version 1 at home. (A boyfriend of mine was given it by his room mate.)

Giggling over a comment made by some... I'm sorry that guest is still be rendered

What I thought of people...

Machine - Still in shock that he would dress up so nice/well for an anime convention. It's suppose to be a kick back thing. Must be to attract the girls. <shurgs> Cool guy. I avoided the evil camera as much as I could.

Vash the Cumcumber - I remember which one he was because he Cosplayed as Vash. Very cool black leather trenchcoat to. Seemed to be a nice guy. What can I say, he cosplays so makes him rather cool in my book.

Julie - Hanged out with her alot. Strongly opinionated, which is why I guess I got along with her so well.

Studio Ganjin - Very nice couple. They shared the table with Julie and I at the dinner. Very nice people, and have some good potential as AMV creators. We tried to watch their videos on the DVD player but with all the other things going on that didn't work to well.

Met Caster Troy but don't remember him. He blended into the crowd.

Talked with Nic at the AMV contest, just as cool as I remember him from Ani-Magic. If you didn't get a chance to meet Nic, I highly recommend taking the time to meet him next time.

Ermac and Brad, same as I remember them at Fanime. I even was nice to Ermac and that was met with evil glares. Oh well. (It was amusing to see him avoid me at the convention, I wasn't the one who wanted to punch him out that was Tommy Rude).

I didn't get to meet Tommy, oh well, there is always another convention.

Tim Park, still haven't met him. He always has seemed rather shy to me, but still a cool guy.

Eric...Wow what a cool guy. Shaved head and all.

Studio Pink &/or Alpha Omega - Met him last year, but terriable with faces. Still am. I think I'll get him confussed with Nic again for some reason.

Wired Knight - Cool guy.

Vlad - I saw him, maybe met him even... I don't remember him. I'll figure out who he is later I guess.

I met a bunch of other people, that were really nice. But again I'm terriable with names to faces. There was another female creator at the party who was very nice. I wanted to talk with her more, but oh well.

Now I'm craving Nachos... (What I ate at the party).

Anneke
