Okay, if you have an AMV of the type listed...
Hey, f you have a Sailor moon AMV with some footage of neptune or Uranus, Post here, and let me know. I am looking for such AMVs, and will download and give opinions for any I see!

HEY!!
Excuse me, but I have several SM DVD's, I simply had no idea how to get clips from them. For your information, I have no reason to go stealing clips from other peoples work becasue that is their acheivement, not mine. I personall have a few AMV's in the making!
Also, the only reason I posted this message was becasue I have spent hours combing the AMV's for what I am looking for, and coninued to do so while waiting for this. All I wanted was a good video that contained my favorite characters!
Before you judge peoples intentions, maybe you should pay attention to what was being said!

If you get an avi video that you can't 'see', then go to www.doom9.org and pick up the 'Gordian Knot Codec Pack' from the 'Download' page - since you'll be making vids as well, it should come in handy. That lets you watch the vid in Windows Media Player.
To get clips from your dvds, read the 'guide' - especially the part on 'getting your footage':

As to videos for you to cannibalize for your own footage...um...
Official concensus here is that cannibalization is no worse than what 'supposedly-original' vidmakers do. So I guess we should start helping these people out more.

-If you do end up using the vid, be sure not to use the beginning scenes (they aren't original to the anime) or the end sequence - only if you plan to cite me as the source of those frames.

-This one requires xvid, or ffdshow - both come in that Gordian Knot Codec pack I recommended. As to the video, about half of it is mine - frames that I've literally changed. If you use any of these changed scenes, drop a note in the vid description citing this video as the source - like you would if you used nothing but 'original anime' scenes for your source. That makes things much simpler.
I'd recommend other videos so as not to be so conceited, but I don't want to be responsible for that. For the sake of 'being a member of the 'we don't care' community,' I'll just say - if you cannibalize my vids, mention it in the video description. AKA - cite my video as the source just the way you'd list the name of the anime. It's not asking for anything but accurate documentation.
