well, here's the thing. bebop and eva are both very emotional at times and the emotion realy captures you. as in, it feels real. with rahxephon, i found the emotional aspects to be as captivating as the love scenes in seventh heaven. now im not gona go on about every little thing i hate about rahxephon, but this is one series that i wouldnt even take if someone offered me the box set for free. and i aint being sarcastic.
oh the other hand memories is damn awsome. sure it has no english dub, but still its dounright one of the most original pieces of anime your ever likely to see. oh yeah and, magnetic rose (part 1 of memories) is one of the most beautiful things ever put to animation.

Um... if you have access to fansubs
Gunslinger Girl (still able-to-get ,but, technically illegal)
Elfan Lied (legal ,but, really messy)
Madlax (getting near the end of the series though)
Melody of Oblivion (Looks like it's getting better)
As for Not-to-miss DVDS that some people forget to mention:
Full Metal Panic
Saikano (Really awsome,... really... really sad)
GTO (alot of dvds, great series though)
Alien Nine (if your in a really wired state of mind)
Kinos Journies (Still getting the rest of them)
Kiddy Grade (For a good dose of action/comedy hero team)
