Which raises a similar point as to eyes... is there a temper related equivelent for eyes aswell? or perhaps in the contradiction with the hair, for example with the rayearth characters, most of their eyes match their hair colour, whereas Rei Ayanami's for example, are very different, does this show anything about the character aswell?Arigatomyna wrote:What, never? As a side point, I saw an article on this very topic a while ago, and a reader asked about hair colour in general, as Japanese all have black hair and very different eyes. I forget the full response, but part of it considered their view on the Americans aswell, since Americans have ore varied hair colours and perhaps it reflected what the Japanese thought about the Americans... Although, I felt I disagreed with the point in question as they have enough American characters in Anime to fully portray their view.
Regarding the green hair, A few years ago I used to wonder why Hikaru and Umi had Blue and Red hair, yet Fuu didnt have green hair, if you imagened her with green hair, she would appear to be more childish in some ways and I think her brown hair gives her more of a sense of maturity... Oo
