AviSynth and ogm streams

I sorry I don't mean to sound like a warez user because I do by my own dvd's.

Only this is for personal use of the ogm because I prefar filtering with the audio stream of ogg in as it better visionly for me. Anyways does anyone now a way to get ogm to work in avisynth when I use directshowsource it tells me I have to set the fps parameter and when I use forcefps or chargefps it didnt work. This is the same for real codec with real alternative installed it still gives me the same error.

You are using an old-as-hell version of avisynth.

FPS parameter is not required since version 2.53.
Regardless, it is a parameter of the DirectShowSource function, not a seperate function.
DirectShowSource("video.asf", fps=15)

k Thanx, I just also curious if there any pricey but good filtering programs that have a gui that are up to bar with avistyn?

I doubt it. With something as powerful as AVS, a GUI would be very difficult to put together. Not to mention that with scripting, the more the user is abstracted from the actual work being done the less effective at it they are. Typically.

true but still Gui can mean more or less control. I mean avs best for deinterlaceing itvc but it may be easeir with a gui becasue you can charge softening sharpening on the fly with a gui and not keep guessing numbers.

A ton of GUI programs exist for avisynth. I never used any though, so it would be my opinion that they all suck, cause notepad works well enough for me

thanx worked for ogm but now I haveing troubles with real. I have the realmediaspilter installed.
