here are my recomendations for all types

Comical: Trigun(minus the last few episodes), Sorcerer Hunters,
Outlaw Star, Azu Manga Daioh(its so random its hilarious)
Romance: Samurai X
Blood: Berserk
Save the World: X, or Space Pirate Captain Herlock
Vampire: Vamp Hunter D, Hellsing, or Princess Monoke

just kinda wanted to get this back on the front page and say i saw the last episode of Bebop and all i have to say is WOW!

funny thing is including the last episode i've only seen about 8 yet it burns deeper than any show i've seen thus far.

Try all of the Gundam, .Hack//, and Zoids series, and then also try the movies: Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away(both by Hiyao Myazaki).
And lets not forget Gundam Wing Endless Waltz, Akira, and Blue Sub #6.
that's all the Japanesse things, but also try the French show Code:Lyoko,
as it WAS good until CN(Cartoon Network) modified it to look like bull-crap!!! well just try the regular series FROM France, NOT CN! and i think, that even Toonami WOULDN"T"VE chaged it, i hope.... thats if they HAD IT!
CN has become even more LAUGHABLE as it DEGRADES ITSELF!
