what kinda stuff are people lookign for?

I have some rhetorical questions.

Why are you making videos based on what other people want to see? Don't you like videos yourself? Aren't you thinking "It would be fun to make a video about..." or "using..."?

Do you watch anime? Are there any characters you especially like? Bands that you love? A really cool hook that just goes whoosh? Pictures floating into your mind when you don't expect it? Ideas that grab you and jump up and down and insist you try, even if they sound stupid?

Why do you have to ask us?

Why are you making videos for us?

We can make our own. Make them for yourself and share them with us. Otherwise, what's the point? One of my other hobbies is origami; am I begging you to tell me what origami figures to make next?

i think sarahtheboring just hit the nail on the head, so to speak, i mean, if we did everything for someone else i'd never do anything, who cares what other people think of your vids?

i don't know about anyone else but i make vids for me and if other people like them then thats just a bonus.

I dunno, maybe other people do make vids for other people, but i personally make vids because i like doing it and i like improving at doing things, and god knows i've got a lot to learn with regards to AMVs

I want to make abstract lateral thinking puzzle AMVs that take three or four rewatchings before anybody can figure out what I'm talking about. 8)

...other than that, something enjoyable to rewatch. Make my monitor's pixels dance with skill! Etc...

SarahtheBoring and Zaphod_Beeblebrox, i think you missunderstood my question. i'm not asking for ideas and what people want down to the frame of an amv. what i'm asking is general ideas that people have.

i am not asking for ideas, but genreal rules and nuances to amv making that people wish to share. i do make my own videos, i have three posted on the org that people are free to look at, and none of them were suggestions by other people. the only other person with input was my friend joe who only saw the videos at their ending stages and made a few simple suggestions.

so when i ask what people want to see more of, i'm not looking for new ideas, just simple concepts that could be incorportaed into many different videos. i got a lot of good suggestions already, and i'm looking foward to getting many more.
