Hallucinations of the Harmonic Mind
Category: Trailer
Audio: Original
Footage: Rahxephon

Alot of you who clicked into this no doubt already know what I do (pertaining to the certain type of video that this is, A trailer).

For those of you who do not.
Let me refresh :P.

This is a trailer made for a "movie" that doesn't exist, I made the trailer using Voice actors (all from the org) and selected music.

So now that you all now know.

Heres something i've been working on for quite a while, and I must admit, I am very anxious to put it up here.

I really loved doing this, and it's really something I've wanted to do since I started making trailers like this.

I hope you all enjoy my (our) hard work,
Thank you.

P.S" Sorry about the Repost.

Please tell me the typo in the poster was intentional for some reason... and R != "Parents Strongly Cautioned". :?

And yeah, the font could stand to be better.

Anyway, I didn't expect this would be done so fast either. Downloading...

I don't suppose you had any way to get sound clips of stuff colliding and people panicking? It would have made the train scene sound a lot fuller and more realistic.

I still say that everything between the alarm clock and the really dramatic music could stand to be louder; I had to turn my WMP volume up far more than for most videos in order to be able to make out all the lines.

Video quality could easily be better. The one scene that stands out to me is the one with the girl in yellow right before the title "To become more human" -- there's noticeable noise on the edges.

And when the music suddenly stops, there ought to be some kind of big impact in the visuals to coincide with it... it might even help to cover up the obvious musical edit.

You gave me the impression that the doctor's voice was going to fade into the girl's on that last line... I was looking forward to that. :P

The titles are better than with B.S., but there's still nothing distinctive about the font. Impact, am I right?

I see I've had a name change since the last one... also, who's "Ryan Van Ausdlen", and what's "disgresion"? :P

On the plus side, the whole second half is really nicely edited, though I personally could have done with one or two fewer closeups of Ayato. The music and the imagery go great together IMO.

Also, it's much more engaging than the last one. As I already told you, there's a very nice buildup that makes you really want to see where it's going, and I had no problems with the climax (except the aforementioned lack of a hard cut or something on that last orchestral hit).

Oh yeah, perhaps the most obvious problem: it's not widescreen.

Anyway, hope this helps... and please, run your title screens by your beta testers in the future. :P

Thanks I really appreciate that, I didnt quite know how to end it...
So at the very end after the credits I put that little tidbit because I felt it needed something, but it wasnt the type of video that needed an explosion or something.

Rawr, Thats for my next time (gotta have some room for improvment eh?).
