Nightwish, Blind Guardian, Hammerfall, Cans, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Sonata Arctica, Iniqiuty (cuz of Lolipops amv

), Dream Evil, Edguy, Rhapsody, Iced Earth, Avantasia...all i can think of for now.

It can be discussed if all of them is "TRUE METAL" but i think they're all good so that doesn't matter really...

I see. Sorry for classifing like that. Anyway all things taken into consideration, I'm glad for those who are for real music [not just heavy metal].

Nah, nothing to explode about. It's just that I've said it many times before, and I don't feel like repating myself too much.

Needless to say, if my forum profile, under 'Interests', contains a phrase that has been there since I first joined - 'Real music, whatever that means to you', I think you know what my view on this is going to be.

Objectively speaking, it's very easy to argue that Britney Spears, thanks to her more conventional and rather 'correct' song structure, is more 'real' musically than the noisy, disharmonious 'thrakking' power chord riffs in metal - oy, forget about every pretty much every single artist I listen to! These guys are so weird and unreal, they should get taken out of the record player and thrown across the room before ever getting the chance!

But of course, there's no objective measure of the reality of music, and when there is, I'll shoot myself. Really. I wouldn't be able to live in a world of total inarguable certainty for even a minute
