Atila please refrain from going off-topic and posting something that hasn't got a topic at all.
Thank you Gaav for your comment.
Truly would love to have my own Gundam.

i was placing a comment for Gaav....
and gundams would be too hard for us to control... maybe not the G-Gundams, but most-definately the Gundam-Wing gundams... only Mech Warriors will be compliantly be able to be built because they're much more simpler than gundams

This may be changing the subject but, I think a good way to go with a Gundam video game might be the first person shooter. Who wouldn't want to play a fps from the perspective of a giant robot? Maybe do it Ghost Recon style to add the military element. I don't know, it's just an idea I had. I'd do it too, if I was any better at game modding that is.

Not an fps. That would just be weird. A third person shooter would let you enjoy the look of the mecha, plus the hand to hand combat becomes easier to see and handle.

Maybe something like Jedi Outcast, that gives you a choice. I know I'd use first person for ranged combat(guns) and thrid for hand to hand(sabre).

I wouldn’t mind, but for me it’s actually watching the gundam burst around and hand ass whuppage liberally is what makes it fun, something like armored core, I loved the setup of that game. The infamous missile barrage just looks that much cooler from a 3rd person perspective. I wouldn’t mind a FPP for something like a sniper rifle, that would make sense.

One thing that would be a must would be the uber exagerated smoke effect present in Gundam and most anime. Each shot should put out a cloud of dust(or sparks on metal). With modern processers that shouldn't be too hard, and it'd be cool as hell.

The only question left to be answered is: which gundam?
They all have their pros and cons.

Ex. Gundam Wing  close combat oriented
8th MS Team  More ranged combat
