Out of curiosity, for the people that won Asukas, did the NDK crew give a second prize to the trophy winners? I noticed that they sent me an Armitage III wall scroll with my video game trophy, just wondering if anyone else got anything like that, or if that was only exclusive to the Video Game award.

That's only for the video game award.

That's kinda Lame, I mean I love our Auska, but this means that not only could the videogame award winner also win an Auska, but they also get extra stuff. pppffftt.

Well the video game award isn't an asuka, but a smaller trophy ("The Golden Joystick"), and that's given away by the guy who runs the video game room along with whatever else he wants to give. And as far as I can tell, the con doesn't actually give any money to Wynette and everyone else who runs the contest, as they have to charge an entry fee for those who aren't attending to pay for shipping and the cost of fabricating the awards.

The Asuka trophies look better than the VG trophy by far (as long as they don't fall apart from what I hear). The VG trophy looks like they just painted a joystick and stuck it on a platform. I mean, there are screw holes on the stick (but I'm still happy I have it). Although I still do think it's nice getting two items, I'd be glad to trade them both for an Asuka. Those seem to have a higher personal value since those categories are much more selective in my opinion (and above all, the "Audience Favorite" Category [If you can win the audience vote, you know you're doing something sweet]). I've never seen Armitage III, so the scroll is kinda meaningless to me (I'll probably end up selling it on eBay anyways).
