i didn't like the end of gundam wing it didn't explain what happen to the pilots, but 'Gundam Wing Endless Waltz' exactly shows them doing something after the war

Berserk is a ending i hated but most say you should read the manga

Evangelion last 2 episodes weren't the best but i can't say i like the aletrnate movie ending

Beebop like you have all said

Blue Gender wasn't completely satisfied there
Can't the end of the road be also thought as the beginning for the journey back.

Indeed it does, although that aside, personally I thought the ending had a few holes...two big ones:

1. Earlier in the film they talk about self-destructing their Gundams doing such damage that it will kill the other Serpent pilots nearby...when they do finally self-destruct (three at once) ...the blast is relatively benign...

2. "...and no mobile suits were seen from that day forth." -- Riiiiiiight...

And there isn't a straight guy out there that can seriously disagree with me.

If you are a guy never watch Chobits, it will try to lure you in a first a crap loud of fan service but dont let it fool chobits in a the biggest shinjo anime i have seen. The fan-service fads after the first few episodes and you will keep watching it becuase you think it might come back but it never does, then you get to the final episode and you think "Chi and Hideki have to hook up or something or atleast hint to it." But, you would be wrong, but by then its too late you cant stop watching it now you have to see have how it ends and then the spring it on you the worst fate that could ever be fall a man. God it cant even bring myself to say it. Its to late for me but for you men out head my warning never watch Chobits!
Well, I'll agree that Chobits' ending sucks, but not for the same reason you're kvetching about.

I just thought it was a lame ending. I was expecting one of CLAMP's "holyc rap!" endings. In fact, for a long time throughout the show, I thought the ending was going to be some Twilight Zone thing where the truth was everybody who was "human" was a real "Chobits" persocom and they were completely unaware of it, whereas normal persocoms were just that. Meanwhile, the only actual living people would have been Hideki, Shinbo, and that tech geek guy who kidnaps Chi. My reasonings? I guess it has always been the "eyes" of each character. Everybody except for those three characters has the same eyes as a persocom.

Normally I wouldn't bother with such an observation, since you could argue that the persocoms were designed to look realistic. But when you take into account how different those three characters look compared to everybody else, it just kinda made sense for me.

So, the ending sucks because of my own expectations, not because of anything CLAMP did or, in this case, didn't do. I just thought my idea was a better ending.

IMHO the ending to Trigun was left too open... As he certainly wasn't dead. He was in fact bandaged up and carried off. WTF is he gonna do when he wakes up? TALK TO HIM? Argh! Should have killed him or said what he was gonna do with him to keep from just leaving and repeating again.

Once again we find another anime series the the manga carries on with. I don't read manga, but apparently there's another series that explains things.
Vash is obnoxious anyways. I wish he got killed off to end the anime. Guns are designed to kill living creatures. If they were tools used to bake cakes....

"What do we do now? We got one episode and no second season."
"I don't know, let's kill Spike."

Huh? That was abrupt
From what I heard, the director of Cowboy Bebop had the idea of killing off Spike in his mind well before any real development to the plot was ever made. Besides, I still think it was well done.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

Well, I thought the ending to the Inu-Yasha anime wasn't that great. Not bad, but not that good either. Hopfully the movie will end it better, or the manga.

OK, loved Cowboy Bebops ending...it is as said a classic and i wan't surprised that he died...he didn't give up...it would have been a bad ending if vicious lived and he died and so Spike is with Julia.

Am I the only one who didn't like wolf's rain ending? It just starts over and I'm going...is that it? They have this huge battle and they don't even get to see paradise...the world is reborn with the lunar flowers and then everything starts over and cheeza says it will be different next time but how can it be when the same people are just reborn? Is paradise heaven but they don't even show that for kiba and cheeza and they are reborn so how are they in heaven? I really was dissappointed with the ending but loved the anime...
