New Gundam Thread

Well, as a rule, Katoki never seems to be big on...well...gimmicks. As such, it's not surprising to see he pulled the flame throwers and gave the dragon head a more...well...mechanical look. (One of the good things about Okawara really...given he does some quality super robot designs, he's not afraid to give Gundams some new gimmicks

I always did wonder why they added all that extra stuff near the end of the series. WTF?? it made no sense to have nataku be all elaborate like that, it went against the whole martial arts basis about the gundam. i personally liked the flamethrowers, never really took much notice of them, more of a cool option than anything else. I liked the simplicity of nataku in the movie; its like wufei noticed how useless it all was.

sigh, i have no idea what you guys are all talking about, but i dont like this Gundam Seed. it is bland old and outdated, they need to get thinking about some serious hardcore gundam action. theres is not enough blood vilonce and hatered, the 3 things that America looks highly upon. If i was in charge of the Gundam Project then it would be the ONLY anime in the world. every other would not even come within 100000000 miles of it. they also need MORE MS ACTION! MS dont get much credit cuz Gundams are God like. hell why dont they just make every MS a gundam and then your problems are all fixed....NO then they would just make an ultimate gundam and have it better than any other (this reminds me of G-Gundam -_-) they need to make it better, and the battles more fierce. they need to put their soul into this anime to make it better. IM ABOUT TO EXPLODE AND OUT WILL COME GREAT IDEAS THAT WILL FOREVER CHANGE THIS WORLD!!!

But I got to say, those were some great Gundam pictures back there.

My favorite still is GW Endless Waltz, don't ask me why.
It just is...somehow.

My favorite still is GW Endless Waltz, don't ask me why.

In terms of design I like it, extremely visually pleasing. I can see why you would like it, it finishes up an awesome series in a way that’s flashy and retains alot of what made wing great.

ok duke i understand now, talking about how they added extra weapons from EW and the clown mask issue. but still MS dont get enough credit, they need to make more series based upon O8TH MS team where it doesnt matter what MS your using but your skills at how to pilot them. Im sorry but Gundam wouldnt be possiable without the MS and Zeon. Sieg Zeon!! besides one diret hit from a Guntank can take out any Gundams no matter what they say : P

1. There's not much to tell about the 08th Team...after the war, it's suggested that Karen, Sanders, and Eledore became Titans (...at least, from what sources I've seen on it.) Shiro's living in the middle of nowhere, and Mikhail's apparently been discharged. All things considered I don't see them getting much of a sequel out of that...
2. In terms of 'Not the suit but the skill' ...methinks you'll want to check out Victory Gundam when it gets over here. Even when he's piloting a Gundam, Uso still has a hard time taking out some enemy grunts for a while there...he may be the protagonist and he may be in a Gundam, but it sure as Hell isn't easy for him.
3. The Zeon factor's debatable...for example, while Zeon is popular, the Titans also established a pretty good fan-following in Japan (to the point I've seen sites selling a novelty t-shirt reading 'Titans IS Justice')

But...that's just me talking on point 3
