well ive only seen ep1 but the story seems to be that theres a guy who can see ghosts and he helps them r.i.p and such. anyway, these monster things come to his town to try to gobble him up (hehehe) because he has such high spiritual energy and then he becomes a soulreeper or something (cant remember the name) so that he can fight the monsters and save his family and stuff. i suppose it'll make more sense when i see a few more eps.

nope, Rukia's a girl as far as I can tell. (but damn that'd be a huge surprise at the end.)

But yeah the skirts and constent references to being a girl and little sister, would give the impression that she's a she. Though in anime you never know.

Trust me, Rukia is a girl. And am I the only one who caught the sarcasm in Angel's post?

I've read the first three volumes of the manga. The first half of the first volume I'd call "eh" at best, but it picks up some after that, and starts to get better about half way through the second volume.

most definitly, it builds and builds. Actually it's still building even up til volume 16. The ever progressing story is seeming to reach it's pinnacle and it still hasn't even gotten to any seriously strong Hollow's yet.

As far as the sarcasm goes, its kinda hard NOT to spot it with the

Are you talking about the different books, or about the chapters in each book?
