I would laugh so fucking hard if they showed Grenadier after it was done, but they also probably wouldn't show it because of a few "big things" (if you know what i mean, lol)
They need to start showing UNCUT eps of stuff, then people would respect them more.

CN will always go for the anime with the largest (potential) audience. Hence stuff with a phenomenal following such as Dragonball Z. FMA already has a huge following and they know this. I mean come on, how easy is it/was it to find info on it and even fansubs?
Companies know exactly what's going on. Heck, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they employed someone to keep and eye on the fansubbing scene.
Seems funny that just as a series gains popularity that it gets licensed. And with it getting licensed the ethical of the fansubbers will stop (which I'd guess is the majority of them). And so then the companies proceed to prey on the unethical and shut them down.
Sadly it's all about money. This is why we will always see rushed out dubs ala Gundam Seed (I liked the series, and the dub just ruined it IMO, heck, I'm not even a subtitles elitest)
Occasionally you get good dubs such as Cowboy Bebop, which are generally where you get a good, well motivated and genuine cast.
I still can't quite believe that Naruto is 105 episodes in and still unlicensed. I find that quite bizarre that something with a huge following already, which perhaps would attract a few old DBZ fans hasn't been licensed yet. It's a damn virtual gold mine
