I beg to differ. Kwasek's A Thousand Miles is, in my oppinion, a great video, and I bloody hate Vanessa Carlton. You'd be suprised. So far, every cropped vid I've seen has made me writhe in agony more so than subtitled vids. It distorts, it blurrs, it streches...the list goes on. However, I don't find it that hard to mentally ignore subtitles. But if the visuals are cropped, then nothing is centered right. I've taken classes in both art and film, and seeing things out of balance really throws me off.And how are they an important visual if they're covered with writing?
