Ok, this is what I noticed in the article:

...John Rogers (Writer for Catwoman) will be adapting the story into a screenplay.

I'm getting a REALLY bad feeling about this.

I don't know if letting the person who did the screenplay of Catwoman should be trying to touch something as popular as Transformers . This could be another unfortunate case of the reverse Midas Touch

They already got those...at monster truck rallies. A huge truck transforms into a dinosaur and eats other cars.

On second thought, I think that went the way of the Police Academy movies...

God, live action Transformers is going to suck.

The Casshern movie was actually really good, I bought the DVD here. I also saw Devilman in theaters, it was... well, it was Japanese. I think we'd laugh at it in the states, but for a Japanese live-action movie it was decent.

Oh, and I smell a conspiracy. The writer for Catwoman doing Transformers. The director of Catwoman lined up to direct the live-action Akira. Next thing you know they'll be casting Halle Berry and Sharon Stone as Asuka and Rei in the live-action Eva...

If it wasn't for the Catwoman guy doing it I'd actually be interesed in it. But the fact that he's involved with it just scares me.
