Onegai Teacher
As of now,I think Onegai Teacher is one of THE best anime ever made.
What's your opinion on it?
(Ifbyou've seen it)

I can claim the title as being the first person on a-m-v.org to submit an AMV with the artist KJ-52 on it. Yay. Hahaha.
Where my jello? I need it to go with my Cola, Rice, Puddin, Steak, macoroni, apple, peanut butter, plastic, baking soda, and cheese sandwhich!

I liked it. Little filler (the manga has even less), nice romance, nice comedy, not killed by fanservice. Cutest mascot ever. Plenty of Pochy. You don't have to put up with hearing "We might be relatives but we might be strangers" every single episode, though I must admit Bandai's "priority one" translation (why not just "top priority"??) gets annoying after a while.
Oh yeah, and the animation is really pretty. And so's the background music. And the songs. (Esp. recommend "Snow Angel", "Love a Riddle", and "Shooting Star".)
I love the psychodrama too, especially in episode 11, which is a vertiable refugee from NGE.
And I just pretend that the OAV (episode 13) doesn't exist.

Yea. The OVA was a little outta line.
I wish they could've made a longer series.

But that would mean more fillers, and possibly screw up the nice flow of the series.fatandpowerful1 wrote:I wish they could've made a longer series.
And again, it's all-too-obvious to say what happened when they did try to make more
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

The combination of romance and comedy worked well, and they were kept mostly seperate.
The psychodrama was kind of annoying, since it did look life an escapee from Eva. Only somewhat better explained. (I still don't buy the 'whole world inside your head' thing, anyway).
Not to be contrarian, but the OVA was a lot of fun. Yeah, it pushed the envolople a bit, but I enjoied it.

Yer right Otohiko. Short and sweet is the way to go I guess.
(So now if someone could tell that to Akira Toriyama).
But still, I wish they'd at least make a 20 years later sequel.

Box-set!? Cool! Now I don't have to use Winamp to see it.

I read the mnaga that my sister borowed from a friend. I did like it, but in my opinion other manga and anime are better. I was atcully planning on getting the anime, but then I thought "why bother when I haven't even finished some series and there are others that I want to watch". Still, I guess if I recieved the seris as a present or something I'd keep it (the naime or manga).
Random Anime Quote:
"They've drawn us awful carelessly." Osaru (I think, it's one of thoes money guys). Jubei-Chan episode 9.
