play flash animation file on windows media ?

i have downloaded a flash animation file on my disc, however the file wil not play on windows, real or winamp. is there another player that will play a flash animation file, or is there software i can download to play the file on windows, real or winamp?

Won't Flash files play in your web browser? If not, they'll usually direct you to the Macromedia site where you can download the latest version of the plugin for whichever browser you use...

have the swf file open with a web browser, ie internet explorer or firefox

if neither of the previous suggestions suit you, media player classic would open it no problem
