Now folks, this is just a rumour at this stage, but, the very possibility of a major live action Gundam movie makes my spine tingle! :o

Discuss. Talk amongst yourselves.

wonder how long before people compare it to the APU's in the 3rd matrix movie... the non-anime knowledgable ones within the USA i mean... though it's not a bad thing, no one can comment on something they don't know about... just wondering how long is all
<_<
>_>

i should probably see the 1st series before i venture into the theatre... though theoretically i shouldn't have to if it's done right... imo... but if i do get a chance to watch gundam i'll keep going til there's nothing left to watch or i die
If you're reading this, you've gone too far...PREPARE FOR RETRIBUTION!!
Don't judge an AMV by it's anime.. u nooB ;D

Well...on one hand, I have my doubts concerning how well it will transfer to the screen...on the other hand, seeing that Tomino's overseeing the project IS a comforting sign.

Weird. I was just recently wondering, what if there was a Mobile Suit Gundam U.S. movie adaptation. Seriously. :?

Well...it's marketed as live-action Gundam...except

a) They never actually use the term Gundam in it
and
b) Sunrise Japan effectively disowned it as part of the timeline

It would be interesting to see it, but what I would like to see done is the movie made as a view of a specific battle of the One Year War from all the perspectives. There's just too many good UC series that cover different perspectives during the same time period during the One Year War to make Mobile Suit Gundam as a live action movie cover just Char and what's-his-name (the whiny protagonist kid).

G-Saviour

I'm not sure I want to see another live action 'Gundam' movie.
