Why? He's the comedy relief for that half of the series and for part of GT. Plus he has his uses, and alot of the scenes involving him make me crack up.

Besides, if he'd died, Pan would never have been born, Gohan never would have gone Super Saiyan 2 (remember it was Mr. Satan who hurled android 16s head towards him), and if that hadn't happened, Cell would have completely destroyed the planet - which means end-of-series. I think the only thing that wouldn't have been destroyed was the egg that Buu was in, and when he finally woke up, he'd continue where he left off, trying to destroy the universe. Without Mr. Satan, or even a planet earth, he never would have become good, and he would eventually get pissed with Babidi anyway, and kill him, so he'd be totally uncontrolled. So if Mr Satan died, the universe would explode.

See? Even the most seemingly pointless character in DBZ can influence the entirety of the universe due to the way the story is told.

I'd have to say Gendo Ikari, and if given the opportunity, Yui Ikari. They just remind me too much of the Bush's (lying, manipulative, and the boyfriend is the real brains behind the operation). Actually, killing Yui wouldn't be all that hard, even in Eva Unit-01. The AT-Field doesn't protect against internal sabotage to the entry plug.
