Yes.

One can only watch cut-up cartoons for so long.

My videos haven't gotten old to me yet, which is odd because they're generally comedies, and you'd think those would be the first to get old.

Or at least I would.

But I do seem to have a knack for underestimating how popular a video of mine will become when I release it. Which, I think, stems largely from the fact that I've watched it dozens of times in the process of editing it, and the general audience hasn't. Not getting tired, but a related concept.

Not usually, it just so happens that my videos are the kind of videos I like to watch. In fact my second one fits my taste perfectly.

What a coincidence!

Get sick of editing? Certainly. But not of the videos, of the editing itself.

As far as when I'm done editing, to be perfectly honest, I watch my own vids more than I do anyone else's. It makes sense, since most of them are tailor-made to reflect what it is I wanted to see in AMV's.

When you make a vid you have to be sure if the choices of song and anime are good enough to put together.

I gave up some vid projects that parts in the song lyrics were too much out of context to the type of AMV that I had it in mind to create , or was just impossible to find a way to match the lyrics with visuals. Some people may say that problems with lack of footage could be resolved with imagination , but I'm not good with that ... :?

But I recommend you to go ahead , because the only way to me or you , knows if the vid it's a crap , you have to upload the finished vid here at the org :p

Sometimes you have to make mistakes to learn how to avoid them.

Watching, not usually. Not because they're teh ubar, but because the ones I finish tend to be ones that I really want to see. I edit to my own taste, in other words. (once again, children, difference between "what I like" and "what is good.")

Editing, hell yes. I quit three times as many projects as I start. Though I consider it a Darwinian process; if the concept wasn't as strong as I thought it was, it's probably for the best.

While editing a video, it's quite easy to get tired of it. I started ony Metal Kombat video a month after AWA 9, got half finished and got tired of the whole thing. Took a 5 month hiatus from AMVs altogether. Came back in April, after MTAC, and finished the whole thing up fairly quick. As for watching my videos, nope, don't really get tired of them.

Let me just say, if I am downloading a video via WinMX, and I watch it when it is at 20 seconds...5000 times over, I feel like that. Remember how you felt about it in the beginning. If it rocked to you then, then it should still rock when you are done, right? Forgive me...I don't explain things well x.X

Forgive me, I didn't specify what KINDS of videos. I mean music videos of the band. I don't like to rip off artists...but they don't ever release their videos on DVD. Trust me, if, and when, Sum 41 releases a DVD compilation of all their Videos, I will buy it, even though I already have them. Dont attack me...My emotional ego can't take it anymore! Lol.

Eh? I'm not entirely clear - you make your own videos and get them off WinMX, and they apparently feature Sum41's official DVD, then watch them 20,000 times?

That was an odd two posts, I must say. Clarify?
